“I may not like you, but Jesus always loves you.”

Rev. Fr. Dario V. Cabral of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador told this to Dominicans as St. Dominic Academy of Pulilan, Inc. closed its 29th Family Rosary Crusade.

“We are all people-pleasers, and everyone wants to be liked. The courage to be disliked is heroic because it reflects our firm conviction that we believe in the youth of Christ” Rev. Fr. Cabral said.

Expressing the faithful’s love and affection through genuine actions is their identity as true followers of Christ. This will show others their will to live by His teachings.

“They will know we are Christians because we love [others],” he added.

On the last day of the 29th Family Rosary Crusade, the mass presider imparted wisdom to Dominicans on the ways of love.

"Love transcends the simplicity of words; it is a profound experience felt by our hearts”, he said.

He also emphasized that this love is what manifests when the faithful pray the rosary.

"The rosary must reflect the love of God to us. The rosary we carry serves as the symbol of our Christian identity”, the mass celebrant said.

Praying the Holy Rosary would help Dominicans reflect on the mystery of love and Jesus’s ultimate sacrifice to redeem them from their sins.

"The way it was done by Jesus, by offering Himself and His life by dying on the cross, He offered that love,” the mass presider said as he explained the mystery of love.

Entering the mystery of love unlocks opportunities to experience genuine love. Love’s enigmatic nature intertwines the catholic faithful with the dynamics of our environment and relationships.
